Where does Schizochytrium algae grow?Updated a year ago

Schizochytrium is a type of marine microalgae that is found in many different parts of the world, including coastal waters, estuaries and saltwater marshes. They can also be found in other marine environments such as sea ice, sediments, and coral reefs. And it's the main source of our plant-based Omega 3 supplements!

Schizochytrium algae is a promising source of DHA and EPA because they can be cultivated using sustainable and environmentally friendly methods. We source all of our algae from purified pools of salt water in specially developed algae tanks, allowing us to monitor the purity of the water. This also means that we don't contribute to overfishing or disrupt any of the delicate ocean ecosystems during the process.
