Which Omega-3 should I choose?Updated 17 days ago
Both formulas are excellent. There's no wrong answer, the right choice depends on what you're prioritising.
Choose the original Omega-3 (DHA-only) if:
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding - DHA is prioritised for foetal brain and eye development.
- You are giving it to children - DHA supports normal visual and cognitive development in infants. Children's dosing varies by age and weight; please consult a doctor.
- Your priority is brain and vision specifically - DHA is the dominant fatty acid in both.
Choose Omega-3 Complete (DHA + EPA) if:
- You want broader daily support that includes joint, mood and inflammation territories.
- You are interested in EPA - the omega-3 fatty acid studied for its role in modulating inflammatory pathways (Calder, 2017).
- You want both fatty acids in one daily routine, with no extra supplements to add.
